Enlargement and integration

Since 2001 IRMM has actively supported the enlargement of the European Union by providing technical assistance and training in the fields of its expertise to help the candidate countries integration to the European framework of legislation.

A major part of the support has been given in the form of training courses and workshops. IRMM has also hosted a large number of visiting scientists and fellows from the new Member States and Candidate Countries. Support to the present Candidate Countries continues while the assistance is extended to include the Western Balkans.
